Training technical skills
Join us on Friday the 3rd of July for a masterclass with Coach Pholo about training technical skills for those who think they don’t need this anymore.
Coach Pholo is a former South African international player, FIH Academy coach educator and until recently the head coach for the women from Hong Kong. She has delivered many interesting masterclasses for us in the past and we’re happy to see her return o The Hockey Site once more.

Tsoanelo PholoCoachCoach Pholo played the Athens Olympics as a player for South Africa. She also played football and even represented her country at a world cup in touch rugby as well. Following her playing days she turned to coaching. She became a level 4 accredited FIH coach as well as a renowned coach educator for the FIH Academy. Today she runs her own hockey academy, coaches for the University of Johannesburg and is the striker coach for the SA national men’s team.
