Trying to describe Henk Verschuur (NED 🇳🇱) in just a few lines is a challenge. I guess first and foremost he is a coach and a trainer. Not a field hockey coach, even though he has worked with some of the best in the world of hockey, like the German national teams for example.
The foundation of all his work, thinking and beliefs comes from the fact Henk Verschuur is a Grandmaster of the Classical Martial Arts. This grew into providing high level insights in the field of strategy, coaching and sports science.
The cognitive process of coaching is one of his favourite topics and on the menu for us on Friday 2026-01-16.
