Lessons learned from Paris – a masterclass by Valentin Altenburg

Following Paris we asked several coaches to host an AMA or Ask Me Anything session with us to talk about their lessons learned from the Paris Games. Valentin Altenburg is our next coach sharing his insights with us. He is the coach for the women’s team of Germany or Die Danas as they are known.

Valentin Altenburg

Born in 1981 he was still very young when he was appointed head coach for the German men in the 2016 Rio Games, winning the bronze medal. These days he coaches the German women. One of the few team in the world who on a good day might be able to rattle the mighty Dutch.
