Graham Reid about raising the performance of a team to the next level

Start with values, Reid says. He spent much of his first year having players define their personal values, shared his own, honesty, hard work and humility, and used Simon Sinek’s why to dig into what motivates each man, before condensing it all into an acronym the team stands for. Add a common goal, in India’s case Olympic gold, then build trust between coach and players, which has to be earned over time.
