Katie Warriner about choosing your thoughts

You have around 50,000 thoughts a day, and roughly 90 per cent of them you never chose; they come from a primitive part of the brain that thinks without permission. Warriner’s point is that you cannot stop thoughts, but you can choose which ones you pay attention to and act on.
