Fede Tanuscio about adapting the defensive system vs a back 3 or back 4

Tanuscio matches his press to the opposition’s build-up. Against a back three he prefers the hook press with two high strikers, because it is easier to steer the central defender into playing through the middle, where the ball can be won. Against a back four he leans towards the diamond, with the side strikers tucked closer in, though he notes both systems can work either way.
